While I openly welcome any opportunity to meditate on the meaning of life, or reason to ruminate on resolutions--Personally, I don't buy in to all of the hype surrounding "New Years Resolutions". I believe that any given day can be a springboard for change. In theory, we should all continually be striving to be the best versions of ourselves. I am not trying to be a "Negative Nancy", I just feel as though you can (and should) evaluate your life more than once a year.
It is that time of year again; the holidays are wrapping up, and everyone is scurrying to get their "New Years Resolutions" in order.

The holidays create an ideal opportunity to reevaluate your priorities, and focus on what really matters. The extra time off gives you the chance to live more: kiss, hug, read, dream, sleep, sing, hike, bike, play, cook, create, plant, laugh, learn, chat, dance, paint, knit, parent, care, share, explore and enjoy.
This morning, I was in the kitchen grinding some fresh coffee beans; I find that starting the day off with a nice cup of joe is the best way to shake off the "one-eyed-groggy-hot-mess" look. As I was taking the first few velvety sips in, I noticed that we had a few bananas that had started to brown.
Being the ever-frugal, recycle-minded, waste-oriented, "green" person that I am--I felt an urge to find a way to use that lovely fruit to its fullest potential. What I came up with is this tasty little number... AND as an added bonus, it is even "Husband Approved"
