This past week I had the lovely pleasure of venturing to small-town Mendota, Illinois to spend time with my absolutely phenomenal* "in laws". With that being said, this week I have decided to host an inspirational guest post in an effort to allow for more quality time with those that I love.
***This is no joke--I ADORE my in-laws. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive, loving, caring family to welcome me into their lives. I don't take these lovely folks for granted either--I have been told (and agree wholeheartedly) that I belong to an "rare breed"... something that akin to "unicornesque" in its rarity when it comes to marring into a family that I believe to be the bee's knees. Last week I came across a poignant quote from Miss Emma Watson that struck an emotional chord; her words so "on fleek" that they have been ringing in my head ever since.
Hello, and happy Monday to you!
I hope that you all were able to enjoy some cycling & quality time with the Momma's of your life this past week! With all of that of that pedaling, and warmer weather around the corner, I think a sweet treat is in order! May I introduce "Creamy Dreamy Strawberry Froyo". Realistically, with this healthy delight you could justify indulging your senses, & tantalizing your taste buds every day! As an added bonus, on Friday you get a guilt-free pass to top your frozen delight with a few chocolate chips in tribute to National Chocolate Chip Day! Nutrition: Vegetarian Style
Hello everyone! Happy Monday to you!
With Earth Day rolling around the corner, I felt an urge to take a few minutes to chat about vegetarianism. As always, I am sharing what has worked for me and my life; no preaching, no judgement, no telling you what you have to eat—just sharing ideas.
It is that time of year again; the holidays are wrapping up, and everyone is scurrying to get their "New Years Resolutions" in order.
While I openly welcome any opportunity to meditate on the meaning of life, or reason to ruminate on resolutions--Personally, I don't buy in to all of the hype surrounding "New Years Resolutions". I believe that any given day can be a springboard for change. In theory, we should all continually be striving to be the best versions of ourselves. I am not trying to be a "Negative Nancy", I just feel as though you can (and should) evaluate your life more than once a year. |
