***This is no joke--I ADORE my in-laws. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive, loving, caring family to welcome me into their lives. I don't take these lovely folks for granted either--I have been told (and agree wholeheartedly) that I belong to an "rare breed"... something that akin to "unicornesque" in its rarity when it comes to marring into a family that I believe to be the bee's knees.
This past week I had the lovely pleasure of venturing to small-town Mendota, Illinois to spend time with my absolutely phenomenal* "in laws". With that being said, this week I have decided to host an inspirational guest post in an effort to allow for more quality time with those that I love.

Hello, and happy Sunday to you!
In case you didn't know, this Wednesday, April 22nd is National Earth Day, and Friday, April 24th is National Arbor Day!. This is the perfect time to reflect on all of the wonders that Mother Nature provides for us; after all, we are interconnected.
“Earth is not a platform for human life. It’s a living being. We’re not on it but part of it. Its health is our health”
~ Thomas Moore
The holidays create an ideal opportunity to reevaluate your priorities, and focus on what really matters. The extra time off gives you the chance to live more: kiss, hug, read, dream, sleep, sing, hike, bike, play, cook, create, plant, laugh, learn, chat, dance, paint, knit, parent, care, share, explore and enjoy.
