Fall brings us so many wonderful things: cool crisp air, beautiful vibrant colors, pumpkin patches, APPLE PICKING (one of my all-time favorite activities!), baking, luxurious “warm” scented candles, pumpkin spice lattes, farmers markets, sumptuous pampering rituals, craft fairs, and the renewed ability to pair boots with layers upon layers of cozy earth tones.

As of late, I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a rather troublesome shoulder. I have had problems with instability, chronic aching, numbness, tingling, and an intermittent sharp searing-burning pain that radiates to my neck, bicep, and opposing shoulder girdle. In other words, there is a whole lot of "ouch" going on in that joint.
This injury started about six months ago in a strength and conditioning (Bodypump) class. During the offending session, a series of seemingly innocent factors created the perfect storm for potential trauma. Let's set the scene... |
